President Hinckley
Our beloved prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley, president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints passed away last night. What a bitter/sweet time. I am so grateful for his amazing example, and the way he has lead this church. He was such an amazing man. He was so loving, kind, and strong. He amazed me with his energy, and all that he did in building the kingdom of God here on the earth. I loved that he had a sense of humor. He was a great leader, and example for all to follow. I am so grateful for his counsel and for the things I have learned and will continue to learn from him. He loved everyone, and had no fear of sharing the Gospel. I hope to follow his example. What an amazing prophet of God.

Next American Idol
Ok I'm just kidding about the next American Idol, especially because I laugh at all of those parents who make their kids like that. But McKinlee amazes me with her singing. She went to "sunbeams" for the first time today, and of course she had a hard time sitting through sharing time. But her teacher told me that McKinlee amazes her with her singing. She could not believe how many primary songs she knows so well. So I wanted to brag and put this little bit of her singing on Christmas. She makes us laugh with her dancing and singing. She loves to show off, as you can tell by the video!

Our Little Kiddies
So Jordan and I finally figured out our new camera that we got for Christmas, so I figured that I would show Hunter with his first laugh. Jordan was tickling his belly, and Hunter knew when it was coming, and he started laughing. It was the cutest sound, and made me so happy to be a mom! I can't believe how fast Hunter is growing up.

Happy Birthday McKinlee and Jordan
Oh ya, and Happy 6 year anniversary to Jordan and I. Ya, we really didn't plan very well.....first we have Christmas, then on the 28th, it's McKinlee's birthday, then the 29th is Jordan's birthday AND our anniversary. McKinlee turned 3 years old. I can't believe how fast time flies. She loved opening more presents, we got her a big easel with markers, crayons, chalk, the works. She colored and drew pictures for hours.

Merry Christmas!
Christmas morning was a little different this year, we were at our own home. It was so much fun to be with each other, and have the kids at their house. We did miss all of our family though. I thought McKinlee would be dying Christmas morning to open her presents, but she walked right by them and into our room. She wanted her usual milk, and to watch cartoons in mommy and daddy's bed. But once we reminded her it was Christmas and that Santa came, she couldn't wait to open her presents. Santa brought her the 3 things on her list.....a kitchen, MACK (from Cars), and a shopping cart to shop with Mommy. The biggest hit was the microphone that we bought from the dollar store. McKinlee loves to sing. Santa spoiled mom and dad and brought us a new video camera. Jordan spoiled mommy more and bought me a new sofa table. We were so excited to take our time opening presents, McKinlee had a different idea. She went slow with the first couple, but them opened every present she saw, no matter whose it was.

Hunter woke up for about 5 minutes, then zonked out!
It was a wonderful Christmas, we are very blessed. And luckily we were able to see Nana and Papa (my parents) the day after Christmas, we missed my bros and their wives. We also missed our Hennefer family!
