Football Already Over??

Those of you who know my sweet husband, know that he LOVES football, and he LOVES the Chicago Bears. Well despite his cheering and support, they didn't do too well this season. But we sure had some fun times as a family watching our beloved Bears. Both McKinlee and Hunter have learned to love the Bears, infact McKinlee was walking around the house saying, "Da Bears." (No she hasn't watched the Saturday Night Live version of that!) We had a great time with our friends the Miller's who are HUGE Packer's fans, and watched the Bears and the Packers play, luckily the Bears were able to pull off a "W." McKinlee and Cooper are so cute together, maybe their future wedding photo?

Hunter loved the Miller's dog, we really need to get him a doggy! But its a good thing that football season doesn't last all year long, I'm sure Jordan would disagree! But maybe next year Chicago??

I finally did it!

I have wanted to do this for a long time, but just haven't had the "courage" I guess you could say, but I finally ran my first HALF MARATHON! I wouldn't say that it was FUN, but it was quite an adventure and an experience! The weather in St. George was beautiful, and the course was really pretty. I ran with some great friends who were great motivators for me! My goal was to RUN the whole race, which I did, even though it was kinda slow! But it was SWEET, and I think I want to run another one! Thanks for those who came and watched me cross the finish line, and especially my sweet husband who watched me along the way. It was so fun to see them every couple of miles, and see McKinlee and Hunter cheering for me.

The BIG 30!

Yes it is that time of year again, Christmas, McKinlee's Birthday, anniversary, and Jordan turned the BIG 30!

Happy 30th Birthday Jordan! I have such an amazing husband, who puts up with a lot! I hope you had a great day! Here are 30 reasons why I have the greatest husband in the world!!

Happy 7 Year Anniversary!

Jordan and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary! I can't believe that we have been married for 7 years! I couldn't ask for a better husband, and I wouldn't trade these 7 years for anything. We have been through a lot together, and I am excited for the new adventures, trials, and happiness that are to come!

Happy Birthday McKinlee

My sweet little girl turned 4 years old! I can't believe that I have a 4 year old! She is such a sweetheart, and is growing up so fast! She teaches me every day, and has such a love for others.

Here are a few things that are ALL ABOUT MCKINLEE:

-she loves to sing (we recorded her singing and gave it to grandparents for Christmas! It was hilarious!)

-favorite songs to sing: anything Carrie Underwood, High School Musical, primary songs, "keep bleeding", Taylor Swift

-she loves to dance (especially to high school musical), and is in dance class

-did I mention that she LOVES High School Musical!

-she loves to play (first thing we do before breakfast is play in her room)

-she loves her friends, and gets excited to tell them everything

-she loves to learn, and knows all of her letters

-she loves to color and show me all the letters she knows (she amazes me with how smart she is)

-she loves her brother, sometimes a little TOO much! (squeezes him!)

-she loves princesses, and could play for hours in her room with her polly pockets

-she loves to ride her bike, and can't wait for the snow to melt

-she loves to snuggle (we have "snuggle bunnies" every morning!)

-still has her juice cup, and I still give her 1/4 of it full of juice, and the rest with water (she still doesn't complain, I guess that's all she knows!)

-Favorite movie: of course High School Musical

-Favorite color: Blue

-Favorite food: Chicken nuggets

-Favorite letter: M

-Favorite song: "What time is it" "Boys are back" (Yes, both High school Musical)

Christmas Lights

I am slowly getting my blog updated! Over Thanksgiving we went to Temple Square to see the beautiful lights. McKinlee loves to see the Temple, especially to see Romoni (Angel Moroni on top) We went with my parentsand rode trax, which McKinlee loved. She found this HUGE leaf, and insisted on bringing it home.

We also went and saw Santa at the mall, and he was a grump! Ba Humbug! Since when is Christmas so commercialized? Supposedly you can't take any pictures on your own with Santa, you have to buy them. But I snuck a picture in. What were they going to do, take my camera away!

Thanksgiving!

I know this is long over due, but Happy Late Thanksgiving! We went to my parents house and had a great time with our family! It was a little crazy, but so much fun! I didn't get a picture of this, but my brother and sister-in-law dressed up their bull dog ZOE and had a great announcement that ZOE was going to be a sister, meaning Jena is going to have a baby! I am so excited for them! They are going to be great parents, but major payback for the times Brad has pestered my kids! My sister-in-law Kelly and Hunter

While we were up north, Jordan and I went to a Jazz game! It was fun to have a date, and watch the Jazz! As you can tell, Jordan loves pictures, and can't make a normal face in them. Thanks watching the kids mom and dad!
